About
Rev. Reno holds a B.A. from Lehigh University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature from Michigan State University. His Master of Divinity was granted by Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
Ordained in 1987 by Greater Atlanta Presbytery, Rev. Reno served in Urban Ministry for seven years before beginning his parish ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City, Tennessee. He has also served as Pastor at Kelley Presbyterian Church in McDonough, Georgia, First Presbyterian Church of El Paso, Texas, and First Presbyterian Church of Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Following his retirement in 2016, Rev. Reno has preached part-time for several churches throughout Texas and New Mexico.
In addition to his church ministries, Bob enjoys traveling, swimming, reading, watching sports, and attending shows at Buddy Holly Hall. He is an Honorably Retired member of Palo Duro Presbytery, and lives in Lubbock with his wife, Belva.
