Senior Pastor
Rev. Chris Turner
A native of Kentucky, Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Arts in English. His Master of Divinity was awarded by Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2005, and he was ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament by Transylvania Presbytery in 2006. Chris then served as Pastor of the Presbyterian church in Gilbert, West Virginia.

In 2013, Chris moved to Abilene, TX and served as the Senior Pastor for Westminster Presbyterian Church.
​
Chris moved to Lubbock in early 2025 and took on his current role of Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church. He is married to his wife, Amy and they have two daughters. In his spare time, Chris enjoys reading, exercising, running, and trying to keep up with new technology.
